Phoebe Berridge of Biggleswade has just been awarded her Licentiateship of the Master Photographer Association (LMPA). With a stunning panel of Images of Portrait, which is Phoebe’s speciality.
The judges’ comments given to Phoebe, included words like sheer quality, impact, stunning, outstanding and unique. Which explained the strength of the whole panel.
Licentiateship of the MPA, is the hardest qualification to achieve within the photographic profession, as this takes a great deal of time, work and dedication to your art to reach this level. Entering the Association at probationary level and reaching the required high standards of this qualification is such a massive achievement.
Not only do you have to submit an extensive panel of photographic images, which are displayed and judged in front of 5 highly respected Fellows of the industry, but you also must produce an in depth working profile, about your work and business practises. This document goes into the Health & Safety elements that must be understood when dealing with the public, also have professional insurances that protect the public.
This is the reason why the public should only book a qualified professional photographer to photograph those precious memories in life, their wedding, pets or family and children, as it’s the only way they have of knowing they will get the best creative photographs and personal service possible.

I can’t explain just how proud I am to share this amazing achievement with you all. The work and dedication I have put into completing my LMPA. It’s been challenging at times, It’s made me stronger, creative and excited for whats next…
Below is the Panel of 20 images that I submitted. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
What an absolutely dreamy wedding this was. I met Steve and Linzi back in 2016. We hit it off straight away. They told me they were having their wedding at The Old Hall Ely. Which I was yet to photograph at and couldn’t wait. With plans to have an outdoor ceremony. The set up their for outdoor weddings is just stunning!
Myself and Linzi discussed their colour scheme she was having a pale grey it was just divine. We discussed make up and hair ideas, all the little things she had lined up for the day and I knew I was in for a treat.
We visited their wedding venue a few weeks before hand and I fell in love with it. The scenery was just perfect for photographs.
So what better time to test out the stunning backdrop and do a cheeky little engagement shoot. I love engagement shoots. They really help you to get to know one another and it makes the wedding day running much smoother.
Their big day had finally arrived. The weather was stunning. The venue looked amazing. The girls were upstairs getting ready and the finishing touches were coming together.
With all the final touches in place for the Venue the dinner room looked amazing with their personal extra touches. It wasn’t long until the big “I do”…
Thank you for letting me capture your special day.

Ekkk! This is still one of my all time favorite venues I wish I got to shoot every wedding there because it’s truly stunning. I first met Rachel and Stuart at their wedding venue for their engagement shoot and I was blow away by this venue that I couldn’t wait to get back for their special day.
Their day was very relaxed and calm. The wedding party was small and intimate and this worked really well for the style of their wedding. It was a lovely warm and sunny day out so after their ceremony the guests were greeted outside with drinks and their were outdoor games set up which a few enjoyed a little too much.
Before sitting down for a traditional dinner and of course the dreading speeches.
Here are a few of my favourites moments
From the first moment I met Sam, I knew I was going to love photographing their wedding and I was totally right. Sam was so chilled out and relaxed about the day some would maybe say too relaxed? But it totally worked and their day was stunning.
They had the most perfect weather for the day, the flowers were blooming and the guests were all full of laughter and joy. The wedding was small but intimate surrounded by their most loved ones. Including their two gorgeous boys who walked down the aisle with Sam.
Their day was held at South Farm, the venue was relaxed. The guests sat in the gardens drinking their arrival drinks whilst we sneaked off with Sam and Pete to capture some stunning couple shots along with their two boys, who definetly made me work to get those smiles out of them but it was totally worth it.

I remember first meeting Donna and Ollie at their chosen location, you could really just see how in love they were. They both had family all over the place so chosen a venue in a neutral are, Brownsover Hall Hotel.Their wedding was in September and my gosh did they did lucky with the weather it was absolutely boiling I remember all of us hoping it would cool down just a little because it was super hot out. The bridal prep was super relaxed which is always a good start to the day.Donna told me they had a surprise for the guests during the ceremony, their would be an owl delivering their wedding rings for them. I couldn’t wait to capture their moment. Everyone was honestly shocked and didn’t see that one coming for sure!Followed by a gorgeous drinks reception outside with the chance to hold the owl’s the guests loved it. With evening entertainment for both the adults and the children that’s right they had a bouncy castle.
Thank you to my wonderful second shooter Matt Margesson for helping me also capture this special day.

This was kind of a different one for me as I went to school with Katie which made the wedding a little more personal to myself and of course it was such an honor to be asked to photograph her special day.Katie and Steve, had their wedding at Fanham’s Hall and I have to say from the moment I drove up to the venue I fell in love and couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding here. The grounds where stunning and there was a lot of opportunity for photographs on the day.Having a November wedding of course you just never know which our British weather, but they got super lucky the rain held off and although it was a little cold out Katie braved the weather for some gorgeous couple shots outside. Especially with the sunset just in time glowing golden in the sky. With a traditional color scheme for the wedding the venue you looked beautiful with gorgeous red roses on the tables and candles. The venue had a lovely warm feeling and a touch of Christmas love in the air.

I’m sure we all freak out at some point when planning our own wedding, I mean there is just so much to think about that sometimes you forget the odd thing. Don’t worry I’m sure it’s happened to all our Bride’s or Groom’s at some point during their planning.
I know for most of my Bride’s and Groom’s their photographer is a huge part of their day they want to capture their special moments into beautiful photographs which they can continue to look back on year after year. Give out to family and friends, maybe even hang a display somewhere in the house. But they also want the moments captured which they sometimes miss, and you’ll be amazed at how many of those they do miss because there off talking to guests, or having their couple photo’s or checking the venue room. It’s so important for them to be able to relive their day again and again.
A few things I feel are important to think about when booking your photographer –
We still have a few dates available for 2017 weddings, so if you still haven’t booked your get in contact.
Lots of Love Phoebe x
I know it’s that time of year again who would believe it’s almost February, seems like christmas was still only yesterday. But it wasn’t it’s that time of year when we all show our loved ones how much they mean to us. Although we do that every day don’t we? Hmmm.
This year I thought I’d offer something for all those couples out their will little one’s struggling for present ideas especially if the budget is tight after christmas but you want to give them a little something as a small reminder that their always in your heart.
Why not do a little something from the kids. Which is why I came up with a mini session valentines day set which we will be running this coming Saturday at our home studio in Ickwell, Bedfordshire. With lots of pretty love hearts, maybe even a few balloons for the boys. The sessions are short as they are mini sessions but they include 3 beautiful high resolution digital images of your choice, which you could use to make a lovely photo frame or photo collage for your partner/wife or husband. Keyring’s, mugs the list is endless.
So why not do something a little different this year and book a valentines day mini session. Contact us today via email.
Lots of Love

Who doesn’t love up to date images of their beautiful little ones. We all forget how quickly they change and grow up whilst we’re all busy with our day to day life’s we sometimes forget to capture those special moments and milestone, before you know it we’ve missed them and their 25 married and have their own children and are no longer our “babies”.
Try and make time to fit in an up to date photo shoot it doesn’t have to be the whole family even if it’s just the kids capturing them as they grow, changing their hair colour and styles don’t let those moments be missed. Capture them and frame them let them tell the stories on your walls in big and beautiful wall art let them be the talking point when family and friends come over.
I recently did a portraits mini session day and it was such a hit with my clients. They got to enjoy watching their kids pose and smile in front of the camera in our home studio which is tucked away in the countryside (Ickwell) I spent my time making sure all children feel at ease and comfort in front of the camera whether this means we sit talk and play for 20 minutes before shooting then that is what we do because I want your images to be natural fun calm and relaxed showing off everyone in their true character.
So why not start 2017 with a beautiful portrait session for you and your family up dating that old family picture and replacing it with the characters you all are now. Let it hang in true beauty around the house and let your friends and family be jealous they haven’t got one.
