What Are Mini Sessions?

Mini sessions are shorter photography sessions designed to capture beautiful memories in a relaxed and simple way. They are perfect for families wanting updated photographs throughout the year without committing to a full session.

These sessions are usually themed or seasonal and take place on selected dates only. Popular mini sessions throughout the year include spring, summer, autumn and Christmas setups.

How Do Mini Sessions Work?

Each mini session has a set location, setup and session time. Sessions are shorter than full family sessions, making them ideal for little ones with shorter attention spans while still capturing a lovely variety of natural moments and family photographs.

Once you’ve chosen your preferred mini session, simply follow the booking link for full details, availability and how to secure your space.

Mini sessions are released in limited numbers each year and are often offered to newsletter subscribers and VIP clients first before public release.

Can We Bring Our Dog?

Absolutely — dogs are always welcome to attend outdoor mini sessions.

Dogs are such a special part of the family and I love including them within your photographs where possible. If you are planning to bring your dog along, I would just recommend bringing plenty of treats and considering the lead and collar they’ll be wearing during the session, as these may be visible within some images.

Most importantly, please make sure your dog is comfortable around new environments and people so the session can remain relaxed and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Can We Bring Extended Family Members?

Mini sessions are designed for one immediate household and this can absolutely include children split between households.

If you would like to include grandparents, cousins or additional extended family members, I kindly ask that you book back-to-back session slots depending on how many households will be attending. This allows enough time for us to capture a mixture of larger group photographs as well as individual family images without feeling rushed.

My goal is always to keep sessions relaxed and enjoyable while still creating a beautiful variety of photographs for everyone involved.
